This week Rylie made strides on learning to climb up on furniture. The PT recommended we use a taped up phone book for her step stool since it is shorter than the one we have. Rylie still cannot get up on top of the couch without help, but with the phone book step she can hoist herself up. At the park she hoisted herself up on top of a landing that was 16 inches off the ground. This is a big improvement for our girl. She is also throwing and catching a big ball much better, and she loves going down the slide at the park all by herself.
The biggest change around here is the first baby is back in our home. My parents brought back Aggie who has been staying with my aunt in Kansas City for the last year. We were very relieved to have such a wonderful home for Aggie so we could focus on Ry. I think our dog will miss the pond and extra acreage she got to enjoy at her foster home, as well as the doting foster parents. Thank you, Aunt Jane and Uncle Bob. Our other pup is with my parents in KC, and we don't have plans on getting her back in the near future. Thanks for taking care of our Kona Bean, Mom, Dad, and Jordie.

Love the update, Jade! I am just waiting for cold season to be over so we can all meet at the park to play together. Go, Rylie!
Good letter Jade... and thanks for that "shout out" to grandparents! Love to you all. Deb and Gary (also loving grandparents)
Wait till this summer. After playing outside for a month you won't be able to keep Rylie out of chairs and off the couch. Wyatt still has a little trouble with the couch but it's always easy to pull up on Dad's pants, especially when it's time to watch the Backyardigans:) We are going to have to get a T-ball set too so Wyatt can practice for the big game with Rylie in May. See you soon!
