For our Florida friends

Rylie and I have been staying at home the last couple of days, not having a good enough reason to brave the roads. Rylie calls it "no," and she won't make a snow ball or snow angel. Maybe the next storm. I had a premonition about the storm, I guess, because I picked out three different snow books at the library last week, and we have been talking a lot about snow. Rylie does know that you have to wear boots if you are going outside when it snows. And a coat, hat, and gloves. Lyle measured 17 inches of white stuff last night, and it hasn't stopped snowing since then. I hear it is supposed to stop tonight, and we hope school is back on tomorrow. Maybe seeing the other kids playing in the snow will inspire!

That's a lot of snow. No wonder Rylie is being "cautious" -- a kid could disappear! Your new deck is under there somewhere. love & prayers, L&B

Blancheris,
We'd love to get some of that weather! I guess next week is supposed to be in the mid-60s, so this won't last long. I did fire up the Christmas music this week though! :)

Thanks for checking in on us!

Wow- we totally missed this post! How beautiful!!! Makes me miss MN a little. :)

Like the Blancheri's we're still basking in warm weather. Although we do have this pesky hurricane type thing hanging around right now.

Oh, and Gracie calls the snow "no" too. Of course she doesn't really know what it is except for what she learned on her Signing Time videos and her new Frosty the Snowman video that she is presently obsessed with. :)

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
