Christmas cheer

Rylie has had a very festive Christmas season. This year we bought a permit to chop down our own Christmas tree in the mountains. Our neighbors showed us the ropes. Rylie loved pulling our neighbor's sled while we were there. She's not keen on riding in it yet. Next year?

We took a special Christmas music class with Rylie's cousins, Sofia and Emerson. Rylie's grandparents (Lyle's parents) were here to experience zoo lights with her this year. Rylie's preschool had a holiday party last Friday. The kids practiced a song to share with the parents. They were all snowman that melted when the sun came out. Rylie needed a lot of reminders to "melt," but she finally sat on the floor. She was pretty confused. (Naughty mom for not having her camera for photos/videos!)

Wishing you all a merry, merry Christmas!

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
