Firsts

As I've posted before, Ry isn't a huge fan of fruit. I had to capture this moment though, because she took a couple of bites of banana. Unbelievable to me who has offered fruit several times a week for the last three years--but with the same result. Kicking and screaming at the thought of a banana, mango, watermelon, peach, or apple slice. The exception is applesauce which is a favorite for this goose. (And no, I don't approve of the dress shoes with the zebra-print shorts, but hey, I'm just an old mom who doesn't know style, right?)

Here's our girl on the first day of preschool. She's going to the same school, but it's in a different building. She has new teachers this year, as well. Ms. De Ann and Ms. Stella. There are at least two other students that Ry knows from her class from last year.

Actually, I LOVE Rylie's style. :) Zebra, purple, patent leather black shoes? She's got it!

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
