Giving Thanks

As always, we are thankful for our Rylie. We try not to remember our time in Minnesota too much, but on days like today, we remember the fight Rylie had and how we are blessed with a healthy girl who has plenty of energy to run this house and tell us all how things should go. So today, we are thankful for our Rylie gift. All praise goes to our Father in heaven who heard our cries and our prayers for help.

Next Tuesday Rylie will be getting another set of ear tubes (is this the 4th or 5th set?) and then her adenoids removed. We are looking forward to better hearing again for Rylie once these tubes are placed.

The big news at our place is that Rylie is a foster big sister. We have two little ones in our home for the time being. Rylie is adjusting to her new role, as we all are. It's been rather stressful, but there are so many rewarding moments as well. (Unfortunately we cannot share photos or info about the babies, due to confidentiality.)

Happy Thanksgiving!

You never stop giving of yourselves, and we are so thankful for you! We are also thankful to know you all, and especially Rylie. I know I've said it before, but Rylie gives us such great hope for the future. Love to all of you, Cheryl and Torie

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
