She's Six

We celebrated Rylie's birthday with horseback riding and pizza with friends in the park. We are thankful for six years with this cutie. She's in kindergarten this year, and the teachers think she is ready to start learning to read. She is 3 feet, 6 inches, so pretty good on the growth charts. I think that is 8th percentile for her age. She was discharged from  private speech this year, and she will only be getting speech at school, along with some OT. We continue to be followed by Ortho docs regarding her hips and knees. There has been little change from the x-rays last summer to this summer. The doctor feels like we will still need surgery in 2 or 3 years. We're waiting and praying for a change for the better. They don't slow her down at all. She's in soccer at school, and she rides her balance bike all over. She loves to run and be chased in the back yard.

We love you, Rylie Su!

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
