Rylie got her glasses on Friday. We bought frames that are soft and more flexible in case she would fall on them. The first time I put them on her, she didn't reach to pull them off for at least two hours. Now she has started to play with them more. She does not act differently when she is wearing them, so we're not sure if she really notices a difference yet.
For those who have not heard, Rylie has an astigmatism in both eyes which made her eye doctor recommend glasses. She is also near-sighted with thin and cloudy corneas. We're praying her eyes will develop normally, and she will one day soon have perfect 20/20 vision! Amen.
