Upcoming trip

We received our schedule for Rylie's one-year appointments in Minnesota in the mail. The appointments are for May 11 thru 15. Right now Ry is scheduled for an MRI on May 12, but I'm hoping we don't really have to do this. She had an MRI of her brain in November, and I didn't think she would need another one until next fall. I would prefer not to sedate her since we've had some issues with that in the past. We'll see what the doctor says about the MRI; hopefully we can cancel that one. We will be seeing some of the same specialists we have seen in the past, along with some new ones. The big ones will be the orthopedic surgeon and the eye doctor. Hopefully they will have good things to say about Rylie.

We are so excited that we have coordinated our trips with our buddies with Hurlers--Gracie and Wyatt. Gracie will be one-year-post transplant, like Rylie, and Wyatt is two-years-post!

Now, some fun updates! Rylie is doing really well with her physical therapy. She can now get up in her booster chair by herself . . . sometimes. And she can walk up the stairs without help . . . when she feels like it! The weather is getting nice outside, and she LOVES to play in the backyard or at the park. Her favorite toy right now is the dog! She wakes up in the morning and asks for the "daw-daw."

Rylie's new words and PHRASES (yes, this is a great new step for Ry):
Mo (more)
Da-da (Dora)
I-cat (I can't...I don't like this one)
I-no-no (I don't know)
Jew (juice)
Ag (Aggie)

She says more, but not consistently, so I don't feel like I can count those words/phrases.

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
