The Ronald McDonald House

Last year we stayed at the RMH in Minneapolis for 5 months, and also several other short visits back to Minnesota. The house is located about 2 blocks from the main hospital and about 3 blocks from the BMT clinic. We were extremely blessed by the volunteers and staff that make this house possible. Here's a shout out for all RMHs! They are wonderful, and quite honestly made our stay in Minnesota financially possible. If you are looking for a place to volunteer, why not look to your local RMH? You are sure to be a blessing to someone who is going through a crisis. Below is a link to our RMH's website where you can take a tour of the house we stayed at. You'll see me and our precious red-head girl about three-fourths of the way through the video. :)

We love Ronald McDonald Houses and the workers and very generous donators that make these homes possible.

Thanks for the link, and the good "shout out" to RMH(s)! We can identify with so many of the feelings expressed in this video: The joy of discovering such a haven of affordable, accessible housing for families so near the hospital(s). The blessing of experiencing the dedication of the staff and warmth and generosity of the volunteers. I'm glad they show the variety of school, gym, and family activities that go on. The way the people of the Twin Cities continue to support this RMH is an absolutely incredible story in itself. (And, it was just fun to see you and Rylie on it for just a moment, too!) love and prayers, L&B

I agree the RMH's are great and we plan on volunteering within the next few weeks.

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
