No slowing me down!

Rylie hasn't been complaining about the cast, and there is nothing she thinks she can't do. Playing the guitar with a cast? No problem! I love her attitude. I think it will get her far!

We go in to the occupational therapist tomorrow to get the cast taken off and see what has happened in the last week. I'm a little nervous, but we've been praying extra hard this week. The one problem we have had with the cast is that Ry likes to use it as a napkin! Yuck! Within a day it was so disgusting. I finally went to the feed store by our house and bought three rolls of vet tape. I now wrap it to hide the dirt and food stains. She really has no problem dipping the cast in her tomato soup or anything else she sees fit. Fortunately, we have kept it fairly dry this week (no dog bowl baths or accidental dips in the toilet).

Thanks for praying for Rylie's fingers! We know there are tons of you praying for her this week, and we do appreciate it.

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
