Preschool

I volunteered in Rylie's class on Friday, and I was able to get a few good pics. Here Rylie is showing off her play plan. Before center time, each kid gets to choose which center they want to go to. Then they must draw themselves in the center playing. The idea is that they plan what they will do and follow through with their plan. Rylie said, "I am going to drive car." FYI, I wrote the R for Rylie at the top of the page. She isn't writing letters yet!

Rylie's class is mostly boys. There are only 4 girls, including her. And there are 9 boys.

Washing the car was fun!

Look! She followed through with her play plan and "drove" the car!

Sue is working with Rylie on her speech.

Hooray for preschool and volunteer parents and building good habits like "plan your work and work your plan" AND good pictures!

Cool pictures! Looks like a fun class Rylie -- you're learning so much and growing up sooooo fast! I'd say between preschool and swimming lessons, your social calendar is pretty full! Will be thinking of you all as you travel to MN next month! We love you! Jo & Leonard

We love your blog Rylie! Torie is getting very excited to see you, and so am I. It seems like so long ago that we saw you. Every picture of you and every story makes BMT worth it! You are awesome! Love, Cheryl and Torie

P.S. - Jade, you are making really good "R"s!

Cheryl, I've been practicing my Rs. Thanks for noticing. :)

Amy, it is Tools of the Mind. All of the public school preschools in our county use it. They use part of it in elementary, too.

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
