Two Years

Yesterday we celebrated Rylie's two-year-post transplant anniversary. I'm not really sure what to call it. Re-birthday? Anniversary? New Blood Day? No matter what we call it, it is a worthy reason to celebrate.

Next week we take off to Minnesota. Rylie is excited for the plane ride, to see our pal Torie (and hopefully meet another boy with Hurlers, Josiah, and his family), and to visit Lake Superior. After Rylie's appointments we are going to spend the weekend in Duluth (2 hours north of Minneapolis).

On Wednesday Rylie will have her MRI, carpel tunnel testing, and meeting with Dr. Orchard (BMT). Thursday we see Dr. Polgreen (Endocrine), Dr. VanHeest (hand ortho), and Dr. Walker (knee/hip ortho). Friday is Rylie's neuropsych testing. We already had Rylie's cardiology checkup with EKG and echo, as well as her ENT appointment, here in Denver.

Thanks for checking in on Rylie!

Hope you had a safe trip. May God bless all your appointments this week, I'm sure she will pass with flying colors!! So sorry we didn't get to meet you in person, but maybe on another occasion because we will have to come to Colorado some day. I'm glad that Torie will have a friend there before she leaves, I know she so enjoys playing with you!!

God bless,
Josiah and family

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
