Rylie's feeding tube came out on Monday, and Lyle and I decided to see how Rylie does without it. She's been eating really well, but she hasn't been drinking a lot. Please pray that she gets really thirsty so we can leave the tube out. I keep reminding myself that the tube really isn't that bad, but I'm just looking forward to permanent tubeless days. We'll put the tube back in tomorrow if things don't change. For the time being, I've been making her drink with a syringe. She actually tolerates it really well since that is how she takes her medicine.
We don't have much else to report. Rylie is continuing to get stronger, and she's been better with her terrible twos (whew, for now). I love hearing her chatting throughout the house. Once she figures out how to put all those sounds together to make words, she's going to have a lot to say!
We'll keep you posted about Rylie's eating/drinking.
Lots of love from Arvada!

Hi Jade and Rylie, for some reason another "Mother Goose" rhyme popped into mind:
"Cross patch, draw the latch,
Sit by the fire and spin;
TAKE A CUP AND DRINK IT UP
Then call your neighbors in."
Guess it doesn't have to make sense, just silly me(us) saying "HI"! Drink up dearie!! And let us all know that you are REALLY tubeless!!!
love and prayers, L&B
Greetings and hugs from Wichita! Thanks for posting all these great pics...Rylie seems like you are just growing up too fast for us to keep up! Hope going "tubeless" has seen some positive results...think Curious George needs a sippin' buddie!! Prayers continue at our end -- love you all! Jo & Leonard
Jade...Jake said he was so glad to talk to you a while back..even though we check all of our "kid's" blogs ..it's nice hear a voice once in a while. I love to think of Rylie talking about this and that. That's a really fun stage! love again and again from us..Gary and Deb
