Resolutions for 2009

Rylie and I had a talk about her resolutions for the year, and we decided that drinking on her own is the goal for the year. She has been doing better about this, but it is slow progress. (We had to insert the NG tube this morning after some dry diapers.) Our second resolution is to use big-girl undies which we've been working on for several months now with little success. Here's hoping we can make this happen early in the year.

Among other goals for the coming year, Lyle and I hope to host a 5K run in honor of Rylie to raise support and awareness for MPS research. More info about that to come!

Happy New Year to all our friends and family.

Also, love the new glasses!

It was fun doing the "wave" on I-70!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

I love those pictures. So adorable. I think it's good to get kids started on making resolutions at a young age... :)

My thoughts on Rylie's new years resolutions:
1. I hope that the new year makes Rylie very very thirsty.
2. Big girl panties are over-rated (so I hear)
3. Love the MPS awareness run. If you make it a 1K I'm there. :)

Awww.. yay for Rylie and her resolutions. We're certain that she'll achieve them and soon! Gracie resolves to walk early in the New Year and hopefully to do some intentional talking/communicating... not just repeating the words for praise and then whining when she wants something instead of using her words/signs.

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
