Wow, Rylie scored another 100% on her engraftment test (taken on Monday)! We couldn't be more relieved or thrilled.
We went to the ENT doc today, and he assured us that the bleeding from Rylie's ear is nothing to worry about. If it is still bleeding next week, we'll need to follow-up with our ENT doctor in Denver, but the doctor here really thought it would eventually stop and was probably caused by the irritation of taking out the old ear tubes. It has already slowed down considerably which is reassuring. After Rylie's labs today, we found out that she needs some red blood cells, so we'll go to the clinic one last time tomorrow for a transfusion. She hasn't needed one in over a month, but we wonder if the bleeding from the ear caused the deficiency?
Lyle's parents are here to help once again while we pack and clean. They'll actually take our car to KC where my brother will drive it out the next weekend. We're still scheduled to fly home on Sunday, so we'll be seeing you soon, we hope! That's all the news we have for now.
