Chip on my shoulder

If Rylie would consume as many chips as she scatters around the house, we'd be all set and rid ourselves of this nasty feeding tube. This afternoon it was all about chips. Our conversation:

"Chi!" From the mouth of Rylie.
"Oh, yes, that sounds good."
"Chi!"
"Are you going to eat the chip?"
Nodding yes. "Chi!"
"Yummy, chip! Eat, eat, eat!" I hand the chip over to her eager hand.
"Ha!" Quickly the chip is sucked on and thrown to the ground.

Over and over again. I have picked up chips by the couch, by her cozy coupe car, by her crib . . . . but never anywhere near her mouth!

Then Rylie gets a brilliant idea. The best storage place for her chip: my shoulder. No kidding.

She's clever, isn't she?

I wish you'd have had your camera ready. That would have been a picture worth a thousand words. :)

We miss you guys and the crew at the RMH, but we're definitely glad to be home.

Gracie recommends Cheetos, Gerber Graduates Toddler crackers in cheese flavor, and Slim Jims. No- that last one was not a joke.

Made me laugh! I can feel your frustration, though! Rylie is a lady with a mind of her own - she wants the taste without the calories! If she only knew -- it's the calories that will help rid her of her feeding tube!

Oh the antics of an almost 2-year old! And, the clever writing of her 20-something mom! We enjoyed this latest. Sorry about the mess and the frustration. Sending love and prayers, L&B

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
