978 miles

We're in Minneapolis after traveling 978 miles via Subaru. Rylie sang herself across Nebraska, played and slept across Iowa, and then slept across Minnesota. There are no rooms available at the Ronald McDonald House yet, so we're staying at the local Days Inn until a room opens up. Tonight we were excited to find Greek fare across the street from the hotel. It was a true treat after two days of travel with fast food. 

Tomorrow we start meeting with doctors at 8:00 a.m. This will feel like 6:00 since we lost an hour with daylight savings and then another hour because of the different time zone. We just hope we get into the RMH as soon as possible. We have a car full of stuff and a hotel room packed with more stuff!
