If I was writing a letter to Ann Landers, I would sign it "Frustrated in Minneapolis." We've heard a lot from the insurance company and the university about the insurance issues, but we have not gotten a final answer about whether they will pay for the transplant. I know many of you are wondering why we are here if this hadn't already been worked out. Well, we sincerely thought it had. Every time we talk to insurance there is a new twist or wrinkle. It has been very hard to get the full story. Although we are all frustrated, we can't do much until we find out their final decision. Until then, we are doing research about other possibilities, praying for answers, and just trying to have some fun with Rylie (which isn't hard to do). Perhaps we will hear something tomorrow, but at this point we know Rylie cannot be admitted until Tuesday, if even then.
We received the most lovely care package from a whole bunch of you tonight. After a rough week, it helped us remember how lucky we are. We'll send out thank-yous, but we wanted to say right away how extremely grateful we are to have you as friends and family. We feel the love you send our way.
Here's a photo of Rylie with Granny B with some of the loot from the care package.

"Argh" is right! Hang in there and we pray you will have resolution soon with the insurance company! Cute pic of Rylie all "dressed" up...think she scored big with the care package! She looks like she's having a great time and loving all the attention! Love to all!

We've been following the blog and great pictures--thanks for sharing! What an adorable little lady! Keep your chins up; I'm sure things will fall in place soon. For some reason, this must be part of the Master plan. ;) Let me know if I can help with anything! Hugs to all of you.
Love,
Janell & the boys
