I take it back

We just got a call from the clinic. Rylie's swab from earlier this week came back positive for influenza type 3; yesterday they told us Rylie's swab came back negative for influenza but that was for types 1 and 2. Thank God she isn't in the hospital getting chemo, because type 3 can lead to upper respiratory infections which could be deadly for a chemo patient. We're sitting out the procedure tomorrow in order to hang out here at the RMH some more and pray that Rylie shakes this cough without any other infections or major/minor complications.

Thanks for continuing to pray, and I'm sorry for the roller coaster postings today. We're confident that God has a plan, but it is sometimes hard to sit and wait for it! :)

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
