Waiting

Hi everyone,

I guess it just isn't meant to be. Rylie's cough is lingering, and we have had another hiccup with insurance. We've been in touch with our insurance about Rylie's case for three months now, but just last week they started to give us some trouble with the transplant approval. We should find out more from the insurance company by Wednesday. We are greatly annoyed by the hold-up from the insurance, but we are not worrying yet. We believe it is only a miscommunication and all will be cleared up in the next few days.

In the mean time, Lyle is trying to work as much as possible, and I'm trying to keep Rylie healthy and happy. Granny B and Granddad Hays are helping to keep her entertained as well!
Thanks for checking in on us, and as always, thank you for the prayers.

And just for kicks, here's another photo of Rylie from yesterday. She had so much fun, and her enthusiasm has been a blast to watch.

At least Rylie is too young to understand or experience the frustration of waiting. She looks like she's having fun! Thanks for sharing the pictures. They brighten our day!

Lots of love and prayers from NE.

We continue to hold you all in our thoughts and prayers. Miss Riley looks like a very busy little girl. She is so lucky to have such a special Mommy and Daddy.

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
