Rylie's enzyme treatment went well yesterday. The nurse did a good job and was able to get the IV in place with one poke. This was much better than our experience two weeks ago. We missed the nice facilities of Denver's Children's Hospital. There we have had a private room with a bed that Rylie can take a nap on. Here, we did get a private room, but it was very small with a recliner chair. Rylie, as usual, took it like a champ. She took a big nap in the chair.
Rylie kept us up last night with some playful jibber-jabber for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. It was welcome compared to the crying earlier in the week. She continued to play today and took part in an Easter egg hunt at the Ronald McDonald House this afternoon. She knew exactly what to do...find the eggs and put them in the basket! Maybe next year she will know more about the goodies inside!
Love to all. Happy Easter!
