Rylie is keeping entertained by all the people at the Ronald McDonald House. Yesterday a lady named Melissa came in and sang songs with her guitar. It's ironic because Rylie's music teacher in Denver is named Melissa. The Melissa here comes every Wednesday afternoon. On Tuesday they brought in therapy dogs. They were a little more gentle than our "woof-woofs" (as Rylie calls them). Most the kids who play with the dogs or go to the music with Melissa are siblings of children with critical illnesses. The other children are usually at the hospital or in isolation. It's fantastic that so many volunteer to help the entire family during stressful times.
Thinking of everyone back home and missing you all. Thanks again for all the prayers and the postings.

"Splish Splash I was takin' a bath!" Very cute. Good to hear about all the activity and interaction at the Ronald MacDonald House. Enjoy some "time off" this weekend. We'll be rolling in Monday. love & prayers. L&B
Was glad to hear you arrived safely and are now settled in at RMH and with fun activities -- hope your room situation is "upgraded" at some point! Love the pictures and videos of Rylie; she is doing great things and know you are taking it all in! Wanted you to know Epworth UMC has you all on our prayer list and many have asked about you all. If there are special Bible verses you want folks to use, please pass those along! Love you guys and we think about you every day!
