Another day, and no good answers. The insurance came back with a response, but it wasn't helpful. They said it wasn't their job to make the call whether a transplant would be paid for or not, but in their opinion it is experimental, and therefore, not covered. After four doctors giving a full report of why transplants have been standard care for years, this answer is outrageous. It is life-saving treatment that is best done before the age of 2. We're looking into ways to have the hospital let us be admitted anyway so we can continue treatment while fighting this battle.
I think Rylie is getting a cold. Her nose is running, and her eyes are puffy. She just went to bed an hour earlier than normal. I feel so bad for her!
All in all, not a good day. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I'll let you know.

Shoot! How frustrating this must be for you guys! You're totally right about their response being OUTRAGEOUS. I just can't believe this is happening! We're still praying that God will allow this to happen soon!
You're constantly on my mind. I just hope the process can begin soon, so Rylie can be through with this junk!
We love you guys and miss you!
Love,
The Wards
Hi there. Lyle just called with the news. How can this get any more emotionally exhausting for you? We were glad to hear Jordi is on her way and you'll have company while Lyle is with the ME team in Seattle. Rest well if you can. We hope Rylie gets over those sniffles! love and prayers L&B
I'm at a total loss for words! This whole situation seems so surreal...just unbelievable! May God continue to give you and Lyle strength as the journey continues on. Hope Rylie's bout with the sniffles is a short one! Love and hugs...Jo
