One week out

This time next week Rylie should have new cord blood traveling through her veins!

Rylie had her first blood transfusion today and her first upset stomach episode. She is starting to gag when we give her the oral medications she needs as well. Some of them will probably be switched to IV meds soon. Even though we're seeing changes in Rylie's behavior, she is still acting happy and lively. She had visitors from the occupational therapist and the speech therapist today. She did great during both visits. She is also having physical therapy during her stay at the hospital, but she got the day off.

We hope to post photos soon!

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
