Last night was a bad night for Rylie (and Lyle who was staying with her). She was woken up for a chest x-ray, because the doctors didn't like the sound of her breathing. The chest x-ray wasn't as clear as her previous ones, so they ordered a CT scan. Rylie had a little field trip to the first floor this afternoon for the test. She had to wear her special mask, but she didn't mind since we was being wheeled through the halls and wasn't in the same room she's been in for the last, let's see, 28 days! For now, we're relieved to know that the CT scan came back good, and Rylie's lungs are clear of infection or fluid. In addition, Rylie is not quite so jaundice, so we are hopeful that the congestion in her liver and gall bladder is clearing up. She is still having high fevers, but Tylenol seems to help.
Rylie's white blood cell count was still 0.1 today. We're wanting to at least double that number tomorrow, but we'll be patient for now as long as the WBCs are the right ones.

Proverbs 3:5–8
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."

May 24th sounds like a good day to grow lots of white cells. Lots of love to you, Rylie and Jade and Lyle.
