One of the nurses told me that another nurse put in Rylie's medical chart that Rylie is "ridiculously cute." She has people talking around here. One of her ridiculously cute things to do is give knuckles. When the doctor was about to leave the room the other day, she put out her fist to hit knuckles. The doctor thought she was pretty cool, and we did too!
Rylie is keeping active and fairly happy even though she has moments of feeling crummy. Rylie's on her second day of Cytoxin (the drug that causes hair loss). Two more days of chemo, and she'll be done! We're going to be relieved when she is finished with the chemo, but we know the effects of the chemo can last a long time. In fact, they say her hair won't fall out until day +7 or longer, so we have a little time to enjoy her lovely, auburn hair.
Lyle's mom flew out on Saturday, and my parents drove into town. My dad leaves tomorrow while my mom stays for a couple of weeks. Rylie loves the additional attention they bring, but I think she was really hoping they came to take her away from here. It's so sad to have her isolated into this tiny room. I can tell she is getting tired of having the nurses taking her vitals all the time and making her clean her mouth and change her diaper constantly (to keep the chemo off her skin and to make sure she is peeing enough). It's a constant stream of people in and out of her room, and her mood hasn't been as relaxed about it lately. I don't blame her. If things go well, we could be out of here by early June, so hopefully Rylie hangs in there.

I am glad to hear that the nurses and doctors are discovering what we already knew... Rylie is ridiculously cute! The pics are great and she looks great. We know there are still many long days ahead so we continue to pray for her and for you both.
Love you!

She is ridiculously cute!!! I hope that if her hair does fall out it comes back in that same color!
