Day +49

Rylie seems to be breathing better today. She's more relaxed and playful, which is always a good sign. She had another chest x-ray to make sure things still looked clear, and they do. We hope this is the beginning of things to come. Ry is getting some extra fluids tonight via IV with her adenovirus medication. We hope this doesn't trigger any fluid retention, but the doctors are continuing the diuretics to help.

Here's hoping we have a boring and sleep-filled night! Zzzzzzzz . . .

Many thanks for all the prayers, comments, and love. xoxo

Thanks so much for the update! So happy to read the better news. Here's hoping you all sleep well tonight. Tell Rylie that Uncle Mack will be giving her a stern talking to about all of this fluid retention nonsense! Hugs and masked kisses to Rylie. Take care of mom and dad!

Hang in there, Rylie girl! We sure hope that each passing day is better than the one before! I'm glad to hear that the chest x-ray was clear! It's just amazing to me the roller coaster you guys are on -- just when things are looking up for you all, something seems to get in the way. That must be frustrating! But she has come so far, and we're SO thrilled for that. Wish we could be there to help! Please let us know if there's anything we can do from here.

Hope you had a restful night!

Love,
The Wards

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
