Day +41
There must be an army of you out there praying. There's been a miracle! Rylie won't be having a bronchoscopy. Yea, yippy, yi, yea! This morning the pulmonary doctor found out that Rylie is on a "do not sedate" list. We were unaware of the list, but I guess since Rylie has Hurlers and has had problems with intubation in the past, they don't want to take the risk of sedation unless completely necessary. In this case, they're pretty sure the reason for the O2 saturation drop is the adenovirus. After a lot of discussion, we're scheduled to go back to the RMH for good TOMORROW. Rylie will have to have an 02 monitor and oxygen for when she sleeps back at the RMH. The docs expect Rylie's O2 to rebound within the next couple of weeks. I'm relieved that we don't have to spend those weeks in the hospital, and we can just monitor Rylie ourselves. Plus, we'll be at the clinic almost every day at first, so they'll keep a close eye on her as well. Yea, yippy, yi, yea! Thank you all for praying. And thank you, Jesus!

Proverbs 3:5–8
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."

Hi--back home after easy flight, some supper and visiting time with GrPa Wendell and Aunt Susan. They were glad to hear updates and see a few more pictures. It was great to be with you, to see Rylie regaining strength and confidence these past weeks, and to help get RMH Rm 435 "rylie ready". (Two leaps forward and one step back is steady progress in my book!) You guys are awesome (!) and the Docs surely made it easier for me to leave this afternoon. So glad Jordi and Palladin will be around to help you with the transition and "go-fer" jobs. G'night to all. love and prayers as you move into the "next phase", Granny B (and G'dad Larry, too.)
Good night, Rylie. Hope you and Mom and Dad are soundly sleeping with the fantastic news that you'll all be sleeping together again soon! Congratulations! It was great to see pictures of your adventures outside. It sounds like those are just the beginning. :) Love and prayers to you!
Good luck, Rylie.
We've all been thinking and praying about you.
