We're back

Rylie has been needing more oxygen and is having a harder time breathing. This morning after the doctor saw Rylie, he decided he needed another CT scan of Rylie's chest and she really needed to be admitted into the hospital for observation. Lyle and I agreed with his decision, because it was obvious to us that Rylie wasn't feeling herself.

The CT scan showed some "fuzzy" parts that aren't surprising since she is breathing heavily. The doctors are giving Rylie some antibiotics to help prevent pneumonia from getting out of control. We don't have the official reading back from the radiologist yet, but we're going ahead with this treatment until we hear back with any additional information. In the meantime, we're gearing up for some more quality time at the hospital. We don't know how long we have to stay, but we know it will be at least 48 hours.

Oh no! We'll be praying for Rylie so hard that she kicks this yucky lung thing. So it is pneumonia? Are you back on 5D?

I hate to say that we almost miss that place. :)

Get our buddy well and we'll be seeing you around here again soon.

Darn! I hope Rylie can get rid of this thing quickly! I'm thinking of you, back in the small hospital room.

We are thankful that Riley is having such watchful care. The roller coaster ride is climbing the mountain. You guys are such an inspiration. Thank you for your thoughtful and candid updates. God bless you tonight.

Not that you wanted to be back by any means, but maybe there's a teensy bit of comfort in having the round-the-clock support? We're praying for Rylie's quick recovery and your return to the RMH. Love and hugs!

Proverbs 3:5–8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."
